Hi Jacquie, Welcome and hope you enjoy JFC as much as the rest of us do :). I have
learned so many unbelievably good tips over time, and it's hard to believe I've been
on this list for a year now :). I still have clutter, but MUCH MUCH less!
Baby steps is one of the best tips from JFC. Baby steps are for when you can't tackle
all the clutter all at once (almost none of us can). You learn to settle for "baby
steps" and do just a "little" job or spend just a "little" time on de-cluttering. The
baby steps add up over time to GREAT progress :).
Another great tip from JFC is to clean out your refrigerator (or any other area) the
night before garbage gets collected. It feels so great to toss out the "old" and have
a clean shiny surface as a reward!
My favorite tip, but one that can easily backfire, is to make frequent trips to
Goodwill (or whatever charity is in your area) to donate items that don't get much use
in your home. The problem is, it can be very tempting to bring home some of the great
deals inside these secondhand stores!
There are a million and one things we can do to deal with our clutter, you will find
what works best for you.
Blessings on your journey!
