Nancy Lee - tell me more please!!!! I am posting this to the whole group instead of you directly so I won't have to repeat half the impormation in another post, but you may respond directly if you would like to. Re-enrollment is this Friday & we just can't swing it this time. I know your kids are in the Christian school system so you are aware of the cost. The sent me my packet last week & next years tuition will match my mortgage. My kids are very upset since they have been there since they were 3 years old. My oldest son has a hard enough time going to this school & leaving me behind let alone go to a new strange one. He won't even go on the field trips unless I chaperone. With you not leaving the house problem I think you can probably relate with his fears. He will leave the house but only if I am with him. Anyway let me know what you have to offer. I have been thinking about you so much & wondered what your situation was. This is the first email I have read from you since you got home right after Christmas & also the one you posted to all of the access members from the hospital. If you have written more I must have missed them. I just wanted to know what to tell all of the people that have been praying for you. They finally took you out of our church bulliten since I hadn't heard anything more about your condition. I am glad I can report some good news to them this week. I don't think you will ever know the impact you have had on the live's of others. I had to cancel my appointment with the temp agency this morning since I thought we had overslept & were running too late for me to make it. I say thought since the clock read 8:20 when I woke up when the alarm was set for 6:50. At first I froze & was in slow motion....not knowing what to do first & wishing I had packed lunches & showered the night before. School starts at 8:30 & it takes 10 minutes to get there & another 5 for my oldest to get to his locker & classroom on time. He has detention today from being late 10 times so far this year. Anyway the phone rang & it was my husband calling to check & see if my son gave me a hard time getting up from school. He was so nonchalant I yelled at him for not calling me sooner to make sure I was up. He thought I was nuts & said that it was only 7:15 and what was I talking about. Apparantly when I reset the alarm after he left for work I was holding down the time button instead of the alarm because the alarm still said 5:15 (the time he got up) but the clock was about 1 1/2 hours fast. We have a brand new CD clock radio that has a dual alarm but we haven't figured out how to work it yet. It is complicated & I wish I had returned it to Costco before setting it out to get all dusty & losing the receipt. I had bought it for our anniversary in Oct. of 2000 & told DH it was his job to figure out the instructions. Well, it has now been almost 16 months & it just sits there collecting dust. The stupid thing cost over $60.00 & now the prices have come down considerably & if I still had the receipt & the box I could still return it and I would. Oh well....anyway by the time I realized that we weren't that behind on schedule we had fretted and dawdled so much that we really were late. I called & postponed my appointment & just took the boys to school which I am sure older DS was a few minutes late again by the time he slowly walked down the hall. I went to the post office, paid some bills in person, & then hit the dollar store. Tried to buy only the necessities in food & a few gifts for kids that I needed but it still amounted to over $125.00 when I checked out. I would have put in an application there but they are only paying $6.25 an hour & my DH could work one overtime & make as much as I would be making all week. Anyway I didn't get home until almost 12:30 & I am checking my email before I even put the stuff form the store away. I had 2 cartfulls. I won't bore you all anymore with my crazy day but please Nancy Lee if you know of a way to help me in the way of a job please let me know. I just knew you really were an angel!! LOL
