Dear group! I did it! Yea! I took three (kitchen) garbage bags and just tossed all the rest of my freezer. I found a bag of tortillas with the price tag dated 1998, and something else had an expiration date of 1999.
Whew! There are just a few more items that others moved to the already cleaned out shelves, but 99% of the old food is tossed. Now we are going to be much more disciplined on purchasing and using food. (As I left the rest of the rice out last night! Groan) and I am interested in Once a Month Cooking.
