Major congratulations on not only clearing out clutter, but persuading your hubby to help clean out his stuff. It is much easier to do your own than to convince someone else they should do theirs.
In "Feng Shui" terms, it might be said that letting go of his old "stuff" indicates he is ready to move on from the past and into a new phase of his life... A good sign for his job search I think. Good luck to him on the interview. Let us know how it goes.
