Thanks, Diane! You're so right about every little bit and the visualizing.
I've always gotten good results with visualizing, just never applied it to my
house. LOL

Just a couple of thoughts - our house needs a lot of work, it's a very old
row house, probably at least 100 years old. Well, I would get overwhelmed
just thinking about what needed done and where I should start. This past
fall, I just decided we should start at our front door - it needed replaced
badly. So, we started there. Next, we'll be replacing the screen door in
the front and probably the back door and back screen door. I can't tell you
how much I LOVE my new door! It makes me feel good when I leave and also
when I get back home. Even though we need siding, new windows, etc. (it's an
insul-brick front, if any of you guys know what that is - which I hate. LOL),
the house just looks so much better with the new door. I also figure Feng
Shui-wise, the front door is a good place to start too. :-)

One weekend we had the living room in really great shape and my DH and
younger DS and I decided to have a movie night. It felt sooooo good to come
into a neat, clean, and especially clear room - was able to find room on the
furniture to sit without having to move a bunch of stuff. I could really
relax that night. And I just tried to soak that feeling in - having things
more simple and organized, and it was really soothing to me.

So I guess I'm making progress, I just take teeny, tiny baby steps. LOL
