Hi Gang!
Hope some of you had a productive weekend. I pretty much took the weekend off, as planned.
Friday evening went to my son's 1st district playoff game in soccer. They won 4 - 1, so another game on Monday evening. Then I picked up my boyfriend at the airport, coming in from Tampa.
Saturday, woke up feeling really sick with my sinuses again, and coughing. I decided not to chance getting worse & went to a walk-in clinic where I got some medication & prescriptions. We ate at a nice restaurant, and even splurged & ordered dessert. Then we stopped at Home Depot to pick up the screen for my aquarium and rented videos for the evening. Younger son went to the Mardi Gras parades with friends, and older son invited his girlfriend over to watch videos with us.
Sunday, Bill (boyfriend) went to the grocery for supplies & made me some chicken soup, which was great. We also made a large pot of vegetable soup, so I'm fixed for the week with soup! We hung out & watched another video before he had to get back to the airport.
Younger son came home tonight with 2 friends. They have the week off school due to Mardi Gras & teacher workshop days. I have to work tomorrow, but they'll stay here with his older brother.
Though I didn't get much done, I did get some rest and relax, which I really needed. So it was a productive weekend in that respect.
