For those
of you who I think I fell off the edge of the earth since our challenge Tuesday
morning, I just wanted to take a minute and say I am fine! LOL I have been busy,
busy, busy since then. My special project is making progress, not as much as I
would like, but progress, nevertheless.
I have the
bathroom door more plumb than it was. The door opens nearly all the way before
it scrapes the floor now. So that is better. DH is going to have to do something
with it as the frame is not square in the wall. The one of the top corners of
the door sticks out, a lot! Or the door is very warped. Either way it, is beyond
my skills.
I have
straightened out the plumbing mess under the sink. The drain went through the
trap, then made a "U-turn" before exiting through the floor. It is no wonder why
this sink always ran slow, there were about a half dozen places for gunk to
build.
I have
patched the crack in the ceiling and what seems like a thousand nail "pops". It
makes me wonder now, just what is holding the drywall on the wall. Not all
of these are done as it seems like I am constantly finding one more. Besides, if
I wait for DH to see it before I paint I won't have to listen until the next
time I paint how I should have patched here or there or done it better.
Next move
is to paint where I pulled the sink (counter) away from the wall. I also
need to finish removing the wallpaper from the closet area.
Last night
was deja vue to before JFC as I made dinner on the kitchen counter I could
barely find amongst all the bathroom stuff. It will find new temporary homes
before dinner tonight.
Kindest
regards,
Vanetta
