Hi,
I have a few thoughts to add to the discussion about how cleanies & messies view their homes.....
I have been thinking that the difference between someone like me and a cleanie is that the cleanie is constantly in motion....either wiping something or putting something away.  I tend to sit & look around at what need to be done, LOL!  It fits with that physics principle that a body in motion tends to stay in motion, while a body @ rest stays @ rest.....
The same with their possessions.... the things never wind up in piles like they do in my house.  They stay in motion from washer to dryer to being folded to closet/drawers.  The papers go from the mail to either the trash or being filed, never stopping along the way!
The other thought I had was on yesterday, when I stopped at an "antiques" shop that turned out to be a glorified flea market.  As I walked around, I began to feel like I was suffocating from all of the junk!  Then I really wanted to get OUT of there, and left shortly thereafter.  I was truly glad that I felt that way; perhaps I am becoming more comfortable with Less, making me uncomfortable when there is too MUCH around!
Just my 2 worth,
Karen G.
