Hi gang,
I worked on my garage Friday night for several hours and again Saturday morning, as promised. I've got things mostly in order now. Cleared some trash out, tools back in the toolbox, stray balls back in the ball bins, moved things back to the shed and attic, put the insulation blanket on the water heater, cleaned out the dryer vent, swept & vacuumed. It is much neater now.
Sears man came but did not fix my dryer - ordered a part and has to come back. What a drag... So I still have damp clothes hanging all over the garage.
I have a houseful of kids tonight, watching movies and eating pizza. Both my boys, and their cousins, who are in town from Lexington KY, 2 girls -10 & 14. They are my ex-husband's brother's kids. I picked them up from their hotel in the French Quarter & took them to eat beignets at Cafe duMonde. Also have older ds' girlfriend. The cousins are sleeping over, but the girlfriend has to go home! So I won't be doing much tonight, just hanging out with the kids. I'm glad to get a chance to see the girls - last time they were here was 4 years ago.
Tomorrow we're going to meet the girls' parents and go out somewhere. Hopefully will have time to get the dog groomed and get everything ready for school on Monday. We don't have Presidents Day off, because we just had Mardi Gras.
Will check in tomorrow & see how everyone is doing.
