Just clearing one portion of the basement will be a Big Job, because of course there is no free space anywhere else for all the stuff, so really, several areas will need to be decluttered and cleared...

Welcome to the group. Sounds like you've come to the right place~ Just remember while you're clearing that it will help if you get rid of things you don't have a good reason to keep. If you can part with some of the "stuff" it will make it easier to move the things you need to keep. Good Luck - let us know how it goes.
