Ooh, I actually accomplished my Saturday project...which was to clear out space in the basement for a hot water heater and to do SOME organizing and SOME throwing out...it took all day, but with the help of my daughter and her friend (they're 10 and 11, respectively) we got a LOT done...plus I also got the ebay pictures taken (which I mistakenly DELETED the next morning!!!) and did the laundry. I did *not* go to the garage sale in the morning, when the time came, that seemed counterproductive to what I was trying to do (get stuff OUT of the house, not bring more IN).
I did realize as I went through the day that there ARE a lot more things that I accomplish than I realize...things I didn't even think of putting on my list...cleaning the litterbox out several times, emptying the dishwasher...etc...somehow I don't consider those "accomplishments," I consider them "givens," like "brushing your teeth," or "turning off the porch light when I go to bed."
However, I spend far too much time reading and writing email. I'm going to try keeping a journal this week...everytime I'm on the computer for other than actual "productive" reasons, I'll jot down the time. I bet the number will be TOO HIGH.
I have before and after pictures if anyone's interested....
