I can still get up and walk but it's painful. I have a lot of spinal degeneration along with the arthritis is "every movable joint in my body" according to the reports. I'm on enough pain meds to get me through the days but it's easier in the chair. There will come a point when I have to use it full-time and the more I use it now, the more I prolong the time that I won't have to use it. So rather than hating it, I have to think of it as something that will help me in the long run. :)
I still cheat and get up to do laundry and to do things I can't reach from the chair so it isn't as bad as it sounds. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Wednesday, February 27, 2002 12:27 PM Subject: Re: [JFC]: Christy > Christy, is this a permanent thing with the wheelchair... you said it was > new... or is it a recuperation help like from a surgery or accident?
