Hi Everyone!

I have thoroughly enjoyed reading all of your posts and they've really
been encouraging! You gals are really great and so supportive of one
another. This group is exactly what I need to be accountable. I hope to
post whenever my schedule permits. My name is Linda Leverance and I've
lived for the past 15 years in Mesa, AZ. We moved here from Wisconsin.
I'm married to a very special person (he even throws his dirty laundry
right into the basket in the utility room closet and wipes the top of
the sink and faucet when he washes his hands!!) We'll be celebrating our
29th.anniversary in April and have 5 daughters ranging in age from
almost 21 to 27 years old. Three of them are married and the other 2 are
living on their own. We now own an EMPTY NEST!!!

I'm a former elementary schoolteacher turned Real Estate Consultant. I
taught for 3 years, then stayed home full time for almost 20 years. Nine
years ago I got my real estate license. I enjoy real estate, but because
of the stressful situations that sometimes happen I wanted to find
something fun to do when I wasn't doing real estate that would end up in
me also making some money. Figuring that someday (hopefully in the next
couple of years) my married daughters would be having kids, I joined a
home based company called Discovery Toys in December and really like it.

Now, the PROBLEM that I need your help with.....I have a guest room and
office whose only guest right now is papers everywhere!!! With the time
it takes running 2 businesses, I've let things get terribly messy. I
absolutely must get all my real estate stuff ready for my accountant by
March 15th. and, thankfully, 80-90% of it is in a file folder on my
desk. It's the other 10-20% of it that's causing me fits right now. I
have so much paperwork piled in stacks in our guest room and in my
office it's not even funny. I used to be truly organized and still am
pretty much so, except for the paper! Oh, what trauma just to think
about it! It all began when our first daughter got married over 5 years
ago. I got into the bad habit of piling papers up because I was busy
with work and trying to help my daughter plan her wedding. I guess it
got to be a bad habit that still continues.

I do feel good just knowing that there are others like myself out there.
I know you'll be a real help to me in getting all this paper under
control. Thanks for letting me share.

~Linda
