Greetings all! I see many of you are up and at-em. I -like Christy- am finishing my morning java after dropping of the girls at school. We have been having power outages so they were a bit late.
Yesterday we had an insurance evaluator out. He mentioned he needed to sit down and talk with us. I came in the house and boy did I throw things around! Thankfully I had corralled most of the mess in boxes and just dumped them into the "dump zone" thumbtacked some nice fabric over the opening (it's and arch without a door) and vacuumed! Then he didn't even come in! Back yard is still not totally weedeated! So since DD's come home early today, and it is supposed to be sunny, they can finish. Then it's off to the shop and BOY! My merchandise is fine, but I have about 5 boxes of clutter - yes even at work- I have to consolidate down to 2-3. There is now a similar shop in the market and I need to get competitive, or at least neat and tidy! I am thinking of making coffee or tea for serious customers. This weekend is supposed to be cold and windy, which is a shame for the outdoor vendors, but brings people inside! We only get about 1/3 of the traffic inside and only make about the same in sales. A lot of us are just hanging on! No one I know of actually supports a family with their shops. Sometimes I think I go just to hang out and get away from family! My Goals for today: Laundry (Please!)
