They sell a set of heavy duty plastic "cups" (for lack of a better word) which are placed upside down under the bed legs at Linens N Things. They are made to lift the bed up - I think about 6 inches. The top is indented to keep the legs from sliding off, so the wheels should not be a problem. I'm not sure about the price - I'll check next time I'm in there and let you know.
This sounds like it might raise the bed too high for you, but you'll have to decide that.
