Linda,   Perhaps you could print some labels with names of persons likely to be in the photos, then you could quickly pencil in the date or ages, occasion  and any additional persons. In my case it would be my kids for about 95% of the pictures.  Or do a pages with names and "Birthday Party", trip to "zoo" or  Aunt Martha's wedding or whatever.  We tend to take many pictures at one time and certain events bear recording.
