Hi guys, I haven't posted much lately but I have accomplished a few things (a very few). I had expressed my concerns earlier over my getting further in debt & my worry about my boys schooling for next year. A few months ago I had considered refinancing my house but I already had too good of an interest rate to benefit from that. The other day it occurred to me that we bought our van 2 years ago with a home equity loan so I stopped into a branch office to check the possibility of refinancing that. Well, it turned out the interest rate is lower now & I can pay for next year's tuition, pay off 2 credit cards & pay off my enormous line of credit (overdraft protection) and have about 1,000.00 left over for emergencies while saving about $200.00 a month from what I am paying for all of those things now (excluding this past year's tuition which I had alre!
ady paid in full). Whew...take a breath!! I am closing the one credit card & keeping the other one only for extreme emergencies (ex.-car repairs). Now that my DH is aware of how our reckless spending without paying back the line of credit has gotten us so far in debt we are determined to not let it happen again. I still have to find some sort of part time work to keep us out of debt & enjoy life a step above paupers (LOL) but I think I can sign up for a local temp. service. I had that appointment that I had to cancel before (I think I was sick or something) but I can always make another one. I had thought working with Nancy Lee was going to pan out but I only helped her the one day & that was about 3 weeks ago & I haven't heard from her since. She hasn't answered any of my emails & she wasn't feeling well when I last talked to her so I don't know if anything is wrong or not. If any of you have heard from her!
I'd appreciate an update. I hate to call her since she has insomnia & sleeps at odd hours I know I would be sure to wake her up.
On the clutter end of life I have reclaimed the end of the family room so now we can use the fireplace if we want to. Of course we don't have any wood & it is supposed to go up to 70 tomorrow. I had all of the supplies used to make DS's volcano to clean up plus piles of books that had been taken from the bookshelves & not returned to deal with. I easily put them away now that there is actually access to the shelves without stepping on all manner of stuff!! I still need to get a handle on the wash & get rid of a bunch of clothes to the resale. We are leaving for Disney in a little over 2 weeks & I can't get out the suitcases & dig out the summer clothes until the Christmas stuff has been all properly packed away & returned to the attic.
I just upgraded to AOL 7.0 so hopefully this will correct some of my computer problems. There is no school tomorrow (in service day) so I have already told the boys that we are dealing with the Christmas stuff or no Disney. Did I already tell you guys that our "Disney" bottle of 4 years of change collecting had almost $1,700.00 in it? No pennies & weighing in at 65 lbs. DH got a bonus yesterday of $2,200.00 (of course they took a full 1,000.00 in taxes) but the combined amounts paid for almost the entire cost of the trip.
BZZZZZZZZZ that was the dryer. Gotta go....only about 30 more loads to go.

P.S. I don't know if I had told you that the entire Psychiatry dept. where my son had his therapy went out of business & left him high & dry without a doctor to monitor the new medication they had given him for several months now. Well, I talked to the insurance company & they let him go back to the original therapist that he liked so well (the one I went to high school with). He saw her yesterday & things are going well with him. Thank you for all of your suggestions & prayers concerning him in the past.
