This weekend I was able to take a
big bag & a smaller bag of clothes
& misc. stuff to the collection box. Nice to get it out of the house (thank goodness for the collection boxes they've placed in certain parking lots in our city!) I also took a couple of bags of kids' clothes & toys to our local consignment shop.....I called Sat. morning to make an appt. to drop them off, and the gal asked if I could come right then, so I scrambled around to get the things bagged up & ready to go, then I WENT! (decided I needed to take advantage & strike while the iron was hot!) Have a nice week, Karen G. Way To Go
Karen!!!
I'm so
proud of you for taking a very big step and seizing the
moment!
I need to
take a lesson from you and follow your lead. I have boxes upon boxes of "stuff"
that I keep thinking I will list on eBay, but the mountain of boxes and piles of
stuff far out weigh my ability and time to create the listings... little
lone the fees that are incurred if the items don't sell. :(
As I don't
go to yard sales or markets, I know that once I sell all of my
treasures (read junk) I won't have any more inventory... so I have it in my head
that I have to keep this stuff until I can get it listed and
sold.
I have to
come to terms with the fact that it is getting to be an obsession... and
starting to rule my home and life. I know that I should concentrate on my book
business, as a quarter million books will not database and sell themselves...
and I SHOULD know that I have my hands more than full with the books
alone... but that temptation to have things to list on eBay is sooooooo strong!
It's a disease in itself!
Anyway...
here's a cheer just for YOU!
GO KAREN!
GO KAREN! YEAH KAREN!!!!
:) OK... so
you are a much better cheerleader than I am.. but please accept it with the
sentiment intended.
As
Always,
Nancy
