designed and tiny.

The kitchen in the basement apartment in my house is just wide enough
for the fridge door to open and just long enough for the fridge and
stove on the wall with a tiny cupboard on either side of the sink at the
end. You can get 3 people in the kitchen, but only 2 of them can do
anything. Over 1/2 of the kitchen has heat vents that lower the
ceiling making it feel even smaller. The upstairs kitchen doesn't use
the space well but it is so much better.
