Diane~~How exciting for Chase....and how proud you must be of him! It's
even more wonderful to see the motivation expressed by a young man to excel in
something and to work hard to get there. What great preparation
for life--to possess the ability to have the fortitude to pursue a goal
even though he was somewhat intimidated. Way to go, Chase!

Subject: [JFC]: Good News on ds!
Just wanted to let you know that my older ds, Chase, was selected to participate in the District Litrally in Free Enterprise. Each school sends one representative for each class to the competition (a test).
Chase is a Freshman, and he was a bit intimidated by the fact that there were mostly Seniors taking the test (many schools have Free Enterprise as an elective, but he took it as a Freshman as part of his Civics Honors class).
We checked the website tonight and he placed 3rd in the District, which qualifies him to go on to State level competition. We're so excited!
