I'm planning to WORK - just as soon as I get home. After school today my kids are off for the next week on spring break and I've got lots of projects lined up. I do have to come to the office, but I'll take a couple of days off. This is my opportunity between school and soccer tournaments to get something done at home - after this week we're pretty booked up til mid-May at least. I borrowed a friend's pressure washer - look out! I just love pressure washing - it is sooo satisfying. I haven't decided yet just what I'm going to do, but it will include washing down the bricks, porches, walkways, driveway. I think I'll wait on washing the painted parts of the house. I have someone coming next week to help me remove the damaged gutters and replace some wood. That has to be done before we can paint, and I want to pressure wash the painted surfaces just before I start painting. That may not happen til May, due to the upcoming soccer schedules. I'm trying to get a few things done, without starting more than I can handle at one time... I'm also thinking of renting a carpet cleaner, and offering to pay Chase something to do the carpet. I had planned to call a cleaning service, but this would be much cheaper and he needs to earn some spending money. I know he'd do it without being paid, but I think he needs to earn something for the extra effort. Carpet cleaning is alot of work... And I have a long list of chores planned! I'm also on a mission to gather everything I want to sell at our garage sale in a couple of weeks. It will all have to be moved to my Mom's because that is a better location. And, I still have attic cleaning and rearranging to do as I gather sale items. So I guess I'm going to be a bit busy. I'm in the spring cleaning mode for sure! I have decided to put off painting the inside of the house til after the outside projects and garage sale are done - probably til the summer.
