Sherry--

After my accidents when I had lots of muscle spasms that made
adjustments difficult, they would always do ultra sound treatments on my
back and neck to help break up the knots. Is your chiropractor doing
that? If he isn't, see if he has the equipment to do it. I remember how
much it helped. PLEASE, PLEASE take care of yourself and try not to let
the house stuff tempt you to over do it. I know how you feel, though,
having been there myself. It's SOOOOOO hard to just let stuff be. I'm
surprised that they didn't just total out your car with that bad impact.
Usually they can't even repair them well enough and it's cheaper for the
insurance to just give you a pay-out. Accidents are so crummy....no one
ever comes out the same, either physically or financially. But life does
go on and we need to stay focused on those things above.

Have a positive day and keep smiling!

Subject: [JFC]: Linda in AZ

Hi Linda in AZ,

I haven't been home much today, but I did get a few things accomplished:

cooked dh's breakfast/packed lunch
washed up all the dishes from breakfast & I must confess the few that
were left from last night (took all of about 5 minutes) :) wiped down
counters/stove (took stove apart last night and cleaned it thoroughly
cleaned microwave inside and out wiped down outside of fridge folded a
few clothes installed my quicken & juno again since puter is fixed went
to grocery store/bank/insurance co for consult car-put gas in it 2 loads
of laundry swept/mopped dr/lr ds dusted lr & vacuumed it plus the
hallway ds cleaned his room & his bathroom put the rest of christmas
decorations up in the attic put away wire that dh left out (ds that is)

I think that's it for today & last night included. I hope you got your
floors done. Sorry I've been gone all afternoon until around 5:00.

I have also had 3 rear-end collisions where someone else has rear-ended
me and one from the driver's side. I was taken to the ER the day it
happened, x-rayed, given pain killer right away and sent home with pain
killers/muscle relaxers and told to see my MD that week. I've seen him,
he gave me more of the same drugs. I've now been seeing my chiropractor
and It's going into the 3rd week of treatments now and he said there is
no change at all. He cannot adjust my back because of the muscle
spasms. He said we would have to get an attorney to make them pay for
everything. :( He did more testing on Monday and I will get results
tomorrow I think. My car I believe I heard my dh say has over 4500.00
dollars in damages right now and they said they may find more. I told
the insurance guy today that when we got the car back that it would be
inspected thoroughly and if it's not totally to our satisfaction we will
not accept it and they will have to fix it. We will have a guarranty
where the work is concerned. My life has definitely change since the
accident. So many things that I want to do here at home inside and out
that I am afraid to do for fear of damaging my back & neck further. As
far as hiring someone to help me out here at home, that is pretty much
out of the question. My dh is self-employed and I am unemployed and his
business is way down since 9/11. I live in Central FL, Orlando area in
a smaller town called Apopka. Just 8 miles outside of Orlando. Thanks
for the prayers & the concern and for offering to help. I think AZ is a
little far for you to come though.
LOL

I am going to try to get a couple of things done this afternoon and
evening if anyone, Linda, wants to join me.

Sherry in FL
