Linda - Congratulations on all you've accomplished in the floor cleaning. Funny how one "dreaded" chore (the taxes) can make another (the floor) seem more acceptable! I constantly amuse myself by finding ways to avoid one thing by doing another... Still, whatever you accomplish is better than nothing - at least you have a clean floor.
Try setting a time limit to work on the taxes (30 minutes or whatever) then get up to do something else for awhile. You'll be so glad when you get them done! I did my taxes online with TurboTax and got my refund ages ago (which was a major incentive!). However, mine are very simple and easy. My dreaded paperwork task was the insurance claim from when my house was robbed last December. I managed to work on it sporadically, but it took me three months to get it completed and filed. I'm happy to say that I filed it week before last and got my settlement check last week. Whew~ what a relief!! I could not believe how it sapped my energy to have that hanging over my head...
