Tat - That was an excellent explanation Kris gave of crock pots. I really recommend that you look for one and give it a try.
I love to come home to the smell of dinner already cooked! It is the next best thing to having a wife at home cooking for you. As a single parent working outside the home, the only time I have dinner cooked at a reasonalble time is when I leave it cooking in the crock pot. The only down side is that you have to plan ahead and have what you need available to start dinner before leaving home.
