That is so fabulous! My husband says I'm crazy but I swear these animals KNOW you've saved them and they respind differently than breeder or kennel dogs.  Of all of the rescues that came through my home, they all showed a special love and appreciation that my own dog (from a kennel) doesn't have.  I love him but he's a snob. :)

Bless you for opening your heart and your home to someone who needed you.

By the way, if anyone in interested, I have a listing of rescue groups for any breed you can imagine in every state.  There is NO reason not to rescue your next pet!

Christy,
I had a good laugh over this sentence.  At this moment I have toys in the floor and pet hair on the couch!
I have a peekapoo who was 6yrs old  when I received her.  She had been placed outside by her owner's new husband and was so matted and dirty that she had to visit the vet before coming home with me.  She is undoubtedly the most loving animal I have ever encountered.  She also peacefully co-exists with my other housepet--a cat !
