Hi Pat, I wasn't around yesterday. How is Jen doing & the family of the girl? I am still in GA. My mother had an MRI done yesterday and the dr came in this morning and told us she had definitely had a stroke as well as the really bad urinary tract infection. She has not responded hardly at all to us until late yesterday evening, last night, and now this morning. We found out that they had given her morphine in the ER when she was brought in. Her Dr. was not happy about it. She is more responsive today. The physical therapist came this morning and got her up out of bed and she was sitting in a chair when we left. Her speech is slurred, one of her eyes does not want to open and one side of her mouth is drooping. But we are thankful that it was no worse than it was. She has use of her legs & arms and knows us. She does have difficulty with her thinking at times. So please keep praying for her and the family. We love her dearly. I have spent the last two nights and days ! at! the hospital with her. My middle sister and I are going to take today off and my older sister is with her. We will go back tonight to visit, but hopefully one of the others will spend the night with her tonight and let us rest.
