So glad to hear that you got your computer back. I hope that your friend can fix it. As for your van...glad that it had good timing. My dh is a mechanic and he takes care of all of that stuff (reason # 639 why I married him). As for the boys who broke into your house, maybe they will learn, but probably not. They are 17, right? I'll bet it is a big joke to them. Maybe if they have enough charges against them they will actually get punished. Most of the time it is community service and probation. Depends on the courts. Can you tell that I spent alot of time in courtrooms? Pre-law in college, juvenile delinquient in high school. LOL Good luck with that whole court thing. Please keep me posted on that. And if you can, be sure to go to the court date (it shows that you are serious). As for the mom screaming at the police...I won't even go there. But I guess it is always someo! ne else's kid doing the bad stuff, huh?

So sorry to hear about your daughter's friend. My thoughts are with your daughter and her friend's family. I wish there was something that I could say that would help. Having lost more friends than I care to count, I have been where she is and it sucks. Most of my friends are gone due to stupid things. Car accidents, drugs, sheer stupidity, ect. Most could have been prevented. But I always say that I have some of the best guardian angels around. Again, I am so sorry that Jen had to deal with this at such a young age.
