Hi Pat, I am sorry it has taken me so long to respond to this letter. My mother is still in the hospital and will be for some time as far as I know. She did have a stroke which affected her right side, plus the urinary tract infection which almost took her life in November. I am not sure how long I will be here in GA. But I am not going anywhere till she improves. They did surgery today on her and put a feeding tube in her stomach because she cannot swallow correctly as of yet. Thanks for your prayers and for all of the prayers of everyone on JFC. I have been staying at the hospital almost night and day since last Sunday. My middle sister, Latrelle, and I have stayed together. I really don't like hospitals and neither does she, but you do what you have to do. I will check in later. Louise is suppose to be back tomorrow (Saturday). I want to say thanks to Vanetta for overseeing JFC while Louise & I are away. And thanks to all of you who have been so well-behaved. :) I w! il! l write more later.
