Sudan cabinet calls for securing oil sites
KHARTOUM, Oct 30 (KUNA) -- Sudanese cabinet ordered security authorities
on Thursday to secure oil sites, workers and all development projects in
   the country.
The decision came following abduction and killing of oil workers.
The first operation including abduction of nine Chinese oil workers
where four of them had been killed by their captors, three wounded and
   two remain missing.
The second operation occurred yesterday in which three Sudanese workers
were killed. They worked for a Yemeni oil company.
The council condemned in a statement the kidnapping of Chinese workers
by a dissident group, describing it as "a shameful and terrorist action"
which is incompatible with the ethics of the Sudanese people.
