WAU, February, 2011 [Gurtong] - The meeting was attended by all state
honourable members, state commissioner of police and all state
protection organs.

Athuai was beaten in the absence of state Governor Hussen following
their political discussion with President Kiir Mayardit and Vice
President Dr.Riek Machar Teny in Juba on the issue of north south
boarders’ demarcation and the recent SAF forces attacks in Raga County
last week.

Hussen said the State authority will be working together with state’s
security bodies to bring the perpetrators into book and control
insecurity situations in the state.

“As we voted for the independence of the new nation, we need citizen’s
protection to be our priority rather than insecurity on our people in
Southern Sudan, Hussen said.

Hussen call upon all members of the State Assembly to work
respectively toward the vision and mission of SPLM which brought them
in the parliament following the last year 2010 multi- party democratic
elections.
He made the remarks following a petition made by 36 members of the
Assembly two weeks ago, to exit the speaker of the Assembly.
