At least twenty soldiers of Sudan People's Liberation Army (SPLA) have
been killed and an unspecified number wounded in clashes with an armed
group loyal to renegade Maj Gen Peter Gadet in Mayom county in Unity
state this week, SPLA spokesman, Col Philip Aguer, told Radio Miraya.

The states' Minister of Information, Gideon Gaptan, added that over
130 oil workers from northern Sudan have been evacuated from the
state.

Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Mayom County, Charles Koul, told Radio
Miraya that different areas in the county have witnessed clashes on
Wednesday morning. Koul revealed that the attack focused on Payam
