The Minister of Environment of Central Equatoria state, Juma Saeed
Worju, has urged citizens in the state to plant trees this month to
replace the trees that have been cut down in the last two decades.
Worju told Radio Miraya on Tuesday that there is a need to enlighten
farmers in the counties on the social and economic importance of trees
in human life.

He added that availability of rain and good soil in the state makes
the area suitable for growing trees.
