shortageofmedicineThe South Sudan Medical Council has registered more than 1,500 medical practitioners across the country according to the registrar, Dr. Embros Sebit. Sebit said Friday that a motion on the enactment of a law to regulate medical practice in South Sudan will soon be tabled in Parliament for debate. He described unregistered "doctors" who prescribe medicine to patients as criminals.
