Help to create my own PHP pollers and graphs scripts

Hello,
I'm currently making my own PHP pollers and graphs scripts.
I have discovered that we must have the same value for
- 'Internal Name' (in Interface Type Fields Administration)
- 'Internal Name' (in
- name of index of array parameter that must be used in the
functions
But all is not yet clear
Please, can anybody help me ?
a) But what is the meaning of the positions ?
For a metric must we have same "position" on the different dialogs ?
For instance between the
- Interface Type Fields Administration dialog
- and 'Poller Group - Pollers/Backend Relation Administration"
dialog
b) I have seen that the RDD files are created by the backend
What is the difference between 'RRDTool All DS' and 'RRDTool single
value' ?
How to use these two backends ?
(It seems we have to use the Temporal Buffer, yes happening exactly with
these different backends) ?
In which case must we use one or the other ?
c) What is the difference between the "Temporal Buffer" and "Temporal
Buffer Multiple" ?
How to use these two backends ?
In which case must we use one or the other ?
d) If I want to create a RRD file with 2 data sources inside, what must I
do ?
If I want to create 2 different RDD files with 1 data source in each,
what must I do ?
