Chris.

Depends on which OS and distribution you're using.

I'm running SuSE 9.0, and it uses xinetd - it was simply a matter of editing
/etc/xinet.d/tftp to reflect the correct values for allowing files to be
input {the configuration will depend on the tftp server you're using too},
and now when I connect via tftp, xinetd spawns the process, and kills it off
once it's done.

What OS/distribution are you using?

Subject: [jffnms-users] TFTP Server

Is there a way to keep the TFTP server up and running all the time so I can
store my IOS images there? One place for all my IOS images would be
great...

Thanks,

Tuska

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they aren't
