php4 or php is the same thing, debian & others use php4, RedHat, Gentoo, etc uses php.
the php4.so is the Apache Module, you should NOT use that.
The SNMP Extesion is to monitor the Linux TC traffic shapping system, the iptables module does not work yet.
So this is only useful if you have a TC traffic shapping system using the HTB mode. And you have to install net-snmp on the device.
