Johan,

Yes, you need a TFTP Server.

Try to execute
copy running tftp

from your Cisco, and see if you see a file in the c:/TFTP-Root/jffnms folder.

If you do, then check if the Path in setup.php is ok.

Also, you need a RW community for this to work, and will only work on Cisco gear.

Hi,

Password is fixed, but now i have following problem :
I try to get the tftpd getting done, for downloading configs from cisco's.
Question : do i need an external tftp-server on the win-server ? I have
tried without and with external tftp-server , since nothing happens on the
/jffnms/tftp/ -directory. So now I changed the path in the jffnms-config
file for tftp to c:/TFTP-Root/jffnms ( a local map i created on the
solarwinds-tftp-server) and I still receive following error by executing
c:\php\php.exe -f c:\jffnms\engine\tftp_get_host_config.php :

 : H 3 : 81.188.68.58 : cisco_cc : Error Waiting transfer to finish
(4628.76 msec)

Anybody any idea?

Greetings,
Johan

Johan,

You can get the encrypt password 'admin' from the mysql dump included
with jffnms. The one you used to populate the DB. Look for the auth
table and paste the passwd field.

Hi

I installed jffnms on a windows 2000 server. Everything worked, but now
i dont have access anymore, not on /admin/setup.php, nor on the root
path. I notice the usernames are stored in the mysql database, but
encrypted, does anybody know the encrypted password ('admin') or the
file where i can reset this

Greetings,
Johan
