Hi,

Is there a good manual for newbies of tftp because I am not getting it
to work, this is what I get from the cisco switch:

%Error opening tftp://192.168.26.27/coupler01-e-building-confg
(Undefined error)

There is so little to find about it and there no logs of what so ever.

In the mean time graph also stopped,if I look in the syslog it stopped
logging after 04 juli.

Can anyone help me please?,,

Francis

Francis,

In my case, this concerned an error with the tftpd daemon. When I had
the
tftp server configured outside the jffnms-path, this error was produced.
When I configured the tftp server within the jffnms-path, it worked :
verify
the path of the tftpd-root (inside jffnms-root) in \jjfnms\conf\config.

I think Javier means with copy running tftp ---> copy running-config
tftp on
the cisco to test that the (remote) tftp-server works.
Greetz,
Johan

Hi Javier,

I removed de 'extension=snmp.so' both in apache/php.ini and cgi/php.ini.
I m sure about the RW community.

I do not understand the 'copy running tftp' thing what exactly should I
do?
If I look in the tftpd folder is see some .dat files.

I get this when I run it from command line:

debian:/opt/jffnms/engine# /usr/bin/php4 -q tftp_get_host_config.php <br
/> <b>Fatal error</b>: Call to undefined function: snmpset() in
<b>/opt/jffnms/engine/configs/cisco_cc.inc.php</b> on line <b>10</b><br
/>

Thanks for your help,

Cheers

Francis

Hi Francis,

First, you have the snmp function defined inside your PHP and as a
module, please remove the 'extension=snmp.so' line from your php.ini.

Second. Are you sure the RW community is correct?

Third, try doing a 'copy running tftp' to the JFFNMS box, and check if
the file appears in the jffnms tftpd/ folder.
