Johan,

Sorry for the delay.

Hi,

I have some questions :

1. in the maps or the hosts/interfaces view, I dont seem to have a
change of colour. Even if they are down, they stay green. It is on a
windows server, so there is no reachability module : Is thisrelated to
reachability ? Is there some setting I miss to have interfaces becoming
green when they come up again ? I notice also in the statistics on the
startpage that jffnms says that all in root map is ok, while there is a
router down

It seems that you changed something in the Internal configuration regarding the alarms or that you DB is broken.

Can you try to do a mysqldump of your interfaces, hosts, zones and interfaces_values tables (so you save your data) and then drop the db, install the original db dump, and then put in your data again ?

2. I try to get not only down evens, but also up events, so that some
customer can see what is the duration of his router being down. What I
want is that some green up-evens (in warning section) appear : to
compare with the up-events of what's up gold. Right now i only get an
event interface <> protocol down : what do i have to do to get also
event interface <> protocol up. (see http://212.100.163.214:8087 with
username/password : jffnms

Ok, wait... I accessed your server, and it seems like you are not running the consolidate.php script, thats why you don't see anything changing colors, nor the triggers messages.

So, first try to check why consolidate.php is not running. (before doing the DB thing I said before)

Greetings,
Johan

Javier
