I think that use of engine id (snmp v3) is not supported by php-snmp and jffnms. Try a simple config like
snmp-server community <your-ro-community> RO then do a #wr mem and test your snmp with command like this from the nms server snmpget -c public <yourhost> system.sysName.0 if it doesn't work, you have to check if there is something filtering between the nms and the router. _________________________________ David LIMA Professional Services www.scc.com -----Message d'origine----- De: munawar zaidi [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Envoy: mercredi 4 aot 2004 6:02 : LIMA David Objet: Re: RE : [jffnms-users] interfaces hello ! sorry for the late reply.my snmp config is given below for the cisco 2620 router.it would be great help for me if u could tell me whats wron with that , and why im not getting the results ( ie- the interfaces). access-list 1 permit any dialer-list 1 protocol ip permit dialer-list 1 protocol ipx permit snmp-server engineID local 00000009020000055EB32240 snmp-server community xtracer RO snmp-server community alianz RW snmp-server community private RO snmp-server enable traps snmp snmp-server enable traps isdn call-information snmp-server enable traps hsrp snmp-server enable traps config snmp-server enable traps entity snmp-server enable traps envmon snmp-server enable traps bgp snmp-server enable traps rsvp snmp-server enable traps frame-relay snmp-server enable traps rtr snmp-server enable traps syslog snmp-server enable traps dlsw snmp-server enable traps dial snmp-server enable traps voice poor-qov ------------------------------------------ well thanks for your interest!
