You are right, IOS subinterfaces does not show error counters, because they are "virtual" interfaces, the errors are only counted for the Real Physical Interface (POS2/0 in this case).
Can you check if the error graph of this subinterface shows something extrange?
Could you delete the input error RRD for this interface ?Javier

Somewhere Im overflowing a variable or an error check is not being done.
