Why don't you just modify the percentage packet loss to a higher value for
the busy links?
Send more PING's {say, 100}, and have the alert trip at 90% {or 95%} packet
loss.
Any link which can't answer 5 pings out of 100 is pretty loaded, and I'd
want to know about it. Ditto for the host.

Hi all,
It is possible to add a feature in JFFNMS to only put an interface in alarm
state when the polling fails 2 or more times consecutively (would be nice to
specify this from guy). Eg: if a host is busy or the network links is slow,
the Nms put the interfaces of this host to down (and send one mail per
alarm), 99 % of time, 5 min later the host or the network is good and
interfaces come back to up (and jffnms sends x mails one more time ...). By
adding these features we should dramatically reduce the number of mails
sent.
