Hi,
This is not a problem.
TCP/UDP Client-Server connections use a high-port (>1024) for the client port and a well known port for the server (161/udp for SNMP).
You firewall should allow your NMS box to query the servers/routers on port 161 coming from any source port.
Javier
Javier,
Do you know how i can avoid that for every router request, the server
uses all possible (source)port towards port 161 of the router. This is
an example of the logs of the firewall before the server where jffnms is
turning. This was possible the raeson why there were no graphics any more. (mail
yesterday)
ps : with the new version of jffnms, I also have problems with
discovering cisco cystem info (cpu, memory,...) : he doesn't detect it.
