I have recently installed JFFNMS on a Debian server and am having
issues with SNMP.

In the Debian Install guide, it says to use: snmpget localhost <string>

When I do this, I get the error message: string: Unknown Object
Identifier (Sub-id not found: (top) -> string)

I'm pretty sure something in my SNMP is messed up, however, I have
also installed Cacti (cacti.net) on the same system, added one server
and get the this:

SNMP Information
System: Hardware: x86 Family 15 Model 2 Stepping 9 AT/AT COMPATIBLE -
Software: Windows Version 5.2 (Build 3790 Multiprocessor Free)
Uptime: 8243542
Hostname: PANDORA

which makes me think SNMP is actually working. What do I need to do?
I'm at a complete loss.

Also, I did not do "apg-get install jffnms", I built it from source as
the Debian Guide says to.

Thanks,
Brad
