I am in the prcess of writing an Operators Manual for JFFNMS. I will provide this back to the project as Open Source.

Since I am new to JFFNMS I am looking for input and colaborators to assist. If you would like to help please either send me any input, text, recommendations, etc.. at [EMAIL PROTECTED]

I am sure that there are experienced users out there that could provide some great input. One area of great interest is to describe what event types mean and what recommended action should be taken for each event.

Here is the current table of contents.
1. Overview 2. JFFNMS Console 2.1. Top View 2.2. Administrator 2.3. Views 2.3.1. Start Page 2.3.2. View Combinations 2.4. Performance 2.5. Administration 2.5.1. Users & Customers 2.5.2. Hosts & Interfaces 2.5.3. Reports 2.5.4. Internal Configuration 2.5.5. System Setup & Checking 3. Howto's 3.1. How to disable status checking in a interface. 3.2. How do I disable an entire host while doing maintenance. 3.3. How do I check the content of a TCP port with a reg exp. 3.4. What does each Autodiscovery policy mean? 3.5. How do I filter the events? 4. Appendixes 4.1. Glossary

Cheers!
