[jffnms-users] Seperate Database machine issues

I've used JFFNMS for sometime now successfully, however I want to move the database (will be starting over with a new one) onto a separate machine.  The poller box is running Red Hat Linux with jffnms 0.7.9 and the database server is running Win2003 MySQL 4.0.22 (I think).  I've setup everything and well I get DB(mysql): Could not connect to the Database. Errors.  I can't login at all anymore, even to setup.php.   I've tried using the command line to test database connectivity mysql -h hostname -u jffnms -p jffnms and this works just fine.  Any ideas what could be wrong?   Thanks,   Sean
