I just began testing JFFNMS, and am not at all familiar with it.

I am running 0.7.9 on a W2K server and trying to monitor a mix of W2K and W2K3 servers.

I got it JFFNMS running, and created the Zone and Customer. The scheduled tasks are all configured and running.

I added 5 servers for monitoring, and they all show up Green under Hosts. In the Green box for each Host there is a small white box with a red question mark.  If I click on any of the Hosts the message No Interfaces Found comes up.

In trying to troubleshoot this I went to JFFNMS site and went through the mailing lists. I have tried the following.

You have to set the "Start In" Field in the scheduled tasks to
"c:\jffnms\engine" and keep the .bat files in then engine/windows folder.

I did this for each task, the tasks still run, but no improvement.

You should check if your Autodiscovery Interfaces scheduled task is running.

Confirmed.

If everything looks correct, try running autodiscovery_interfaces.php directly look at the engine\windows\*.bat files too.

Tried this, Still did not find the interfaces.

Also try using Manual Discovery in the Hosts screen to see if its finding something.

I could not find where to manually run the discovery from.

Any advice is appreciated.

Chris
