The problem is NT 4.0.  JFFNMS relies on SNMP to gether this information, and NT 4.0’s out of the box snmp implementation really just sucks.  There are some sites out there that describe how you can extend it, but by default you can only monitor Network card utilization with NT 4.0.  I’m not sure if you can get more stuff with the Compaq/HP/Dell agents installed for NT 4.0 servers or not.  My guess would be it would be just those items… temperature, fans, etc.

Hi,

I want to monitor NT servers (NT4, W2K and W2K3). When I make a discover for interfaces, I have :

On windows 2003 server, RAM, Virtual RAM, CPU, Services, Network interface, …

On Windows 2000 server : Virtual RAM, CPU, Services, network interface.

On NT 4 server : Network interface

How can I have RAM and services on NT4 server and Ram on Windows 2000 server.
