How did you upgrade from 0.7.9 to 0.8.1 ? you have to do every step, from 0.7.9 to 0.8.0 and then to 0.8.1
What is the "modify string"?
To restore the DB you have to drop the jffnms db "DROP DATABASE jffnms;" and then create it again as the INSTALL.win32.txt file says and instead of importing the docs/jffnms-0.7.9.mysql file you import your backup file.

I followed the directions in the upgrade instructions for win32. When I did the database upgrade I followed the SQL backup and upgrade directions. However, when I ran the modify string it hung. I am thinking that process messed up the database but I am not sure. Is the best way to resolve this simply restore the backup I made to the database and roll back to .79 and try again?
If so, how do I restore the backup of the SQL dbase I made?
