Did you check execution permissions in .sh file?
A way to check if is working fine you can open a console window (as root) and
run snmptrapd server in foreground :
snmptrapd -f -Le -d
In other console send a trap:
snmptrap -v 1 -c <your community> 127.0.0.1 "" "" 0 0 "'
If server still runs so should be working fine...
Can you send me the snmptrapd output?
